David J. Williams has over 39 years of lending experience and currently serves as Senior Managing Director of The Tokarz Group Adviser’s (“TTGA”) junior debt strategy. Prior to joining TTGA, Mr. Williams founded Fifth Third Bank’s Mezzanine Finance Group. As a Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the Fifth Third Mezzanine Finance Group, Mr. Williams led or co-led more than 178 mezzanine transactions, representing over $1 billion in mezzanine investments. Mr. Williams also led the efforts to establish Fifth Third’s Private Placements product. While at Fifth Third, Mr. Williams was responsible for the entire mezzanine finance product line including oversight of investment professionals. Prior to Fifth Third, he worked at First Interstate Bank, The Bank of California/Union Bank of California, and PNC. Mr. Williams is a graduate of Wittenberg University. Williams is a Series 7, 63, & 79 license holder.
