Mr. O'Connor served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Commonwealth Edison Company, an electric utility company from 1980 to March 1998.  Mr. O'Connor is a director of Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation, United Airlines, Armstrong World Industries, Inc. and Corning.  He is a past Director of First National Bank of Chicago, Chicago Tribune, Borg Warner and is an active member of Chicago's civic community serving on numerous Boards.
